DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Communicating with parents daily in regards to client programs and progress.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Implementation of one-on-one individualized programs.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Collection and charting of data.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Participating in clinical staff meetings.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Update treatment plans as necessary.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Train family members on implementing the treatment plan.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community-based environments.

<!-- [if !supportLists]-->·         <!--[endif]-->Document daily notes involving face-to-face sessions and billable time while meeting necessary deadline set by administrator.

If not a RBT, must complete RBT coursework and complete verbal competency assessment within 90 days of initial hire. Behavioral health services of Virginia will provide course work and competency assessment delivery to hire candidates if necessary.

Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Social Work, Special Education or Human Services related field from an accredited college or university with at least one (1) year of documented clinical experience with children and adolescents. Applicants must complete a criminal background check, pass the RBT Competency Assessment, and pass the RBT exam. Must be eligible to sit for RBT exam after completing RBT coursework. Must possess strong listening and interviewing skills; as well as basic computer/typing skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must also have reliable transportation and car insurance. Experience in providing psychiatric or mental health services to children who have a mental illness.
